Friday was Weymouth to deepest Cornwall, then Sunday all the way to Berwick in Northumberland. Wednesday all the way back to Newquay again to pick up a snake and then back to Poole on Thursday morning. Anyone see me? anyone? please dont tell me it was all in vain!!!

I knew I had bought a fantastic car, but I've had it for two years and never been off the rock, did over 1000miles in a few days and not a single hitch, and other than a wet knee at one point, had a very enjoyable drive.

Long live the Elan!

why not try and make the next southern area meet

So any volunteers for the driver of the Collapso SE that I saw on the M69 between Tamworth and Coventry last Saturday evening?

(Very nice blonde in the passenger seat too!) :-D

Thought it might be Gordon Twist at the time, but the wheels looked standard.

Saw a Yeller un heading East on the M40 Fiday night at about 7:30. Hood up and heading towards the storm I just drove though. My hood down :D Thought it might be Will, but alas he has no Elan at the moment.

Silver M100 In Bristol this morning flashed his lights, I think he's local to my home turf in Briz.

Wow - This afternoon I saw Stevo, Tony Stevens, John Wham and Jim P, all parked, while in the Reception of Peter Smith Sports Cars near Derby (awaiting an estimate after some tw@t of a taxi driver ran into the back of me)!

OK so it's a little bit tenuous and may have been covered elsewhere, but to see so many people's cars I know out of context ALMOST counts, surely...?
