I have said that we want to be all together although they don't reserve pitches i'll call them a couple of weeks in advance to see if they can give us an area which is far enough away from others such that we won't annoy people. P.S If anyone is stuck for a tent I have a spare one, as wife has just gone and bought one so large I can (and will) park the car in it!

Sorry this is a bit late, I am fairly sure I can make this so if its ok do you have room for one more? Lynne does not do "canvas" so I could be "Noddy no mates" for the weekend. If you could let me have the phone no for the camp site I will call them and book direct. I have a tent and will be bring my beer goggles. I have a portable gas BBQ - if required?

Just to let you know that Iain (and his wife) and myself (and my wife!) have booked ourselves pitches at the campsite for the friday night aswell.

We just felt that 1 day of fun just wasn't enough!

We'll probably get there mid-afternoon, set up the tents, spark up the bbq's and crack open the beers!

We will try to arrange a good spot with enough pitches for when everyone else arrives on the saturday.

Of course, anyone is welcome to join us for the friday festivities!

hi paul, I had originally told them 6 pitches together. i will call them tomorrow and tell them we will need 9. When you get there you need to make sure that you quote my name. I will make a point that we will want to be away from other campers but not too far from the shower facilities. i'll let you know what happens.

Just had a really confusing conversation with the site trying to get everyone in the same area and got nowhere.

For those that booked individually (ie i didn't book it for you) can you pm me your booking ref no so that i can try and coordinate our pitches. I will then let the site know so that they can get all our pitches together (hopefully).

Saturday night meal????

What's everyones preference, meal out?(easier) BBQ?(more fun), bring your own sandwiches?(boring).

Obviously weather dependant but it would be nice to know.

Some of the group may not be arriving til about 8pm so hopefully they will be happy to go with the flow.

I shall be trying to get to the site for about 5pm and will be taking the scenic route from Wsussex - does anyone want to meet on route?

As for Saturday evening, my preference is a BBQ, but obviously it is weather dependent and I think we should have a back-up plan of a nice pub/restaurant in the area that we could go to.

BTW I'm going to the Thatchers (somerset cider) brewery shop on saturday. Does anyone want me to get them anything? Thatchers website!

I'll be bringing some scrumpy from a local farm for peeps to try! And if no-one likes it we can pour it into our fuel tanks - its supposed to be better than Shell Optimax!

When are we going to decide on Saturday night grub. If we're having a barbie (best leave the missus at home) then I'll get some very nice sausages from a butcher that we go to, but I don't fancy having them sit in the car for the weekend only to be binned.
