Doug,
I have a couple of different options, will keep the group posted, but this is a thought that occurred to me too.

On the positive side; seller has good ebay feedback and has successfully supplied some LEC-ers with a good quality alternator....

Maybe room for a last squeeze on the price as you've got 14 now!

Can I ask that people start to think about what groupings we can organise to get these moved around the country.
PaulWatkins has been volunteered (by the looks of it) for the West, Muley's volunteered for the H&C lot.
Does anyone travel between the south and east mids? or Between Bristol and Birmingham? Where does everyone else live? Are you going to Stoneleigh?
The idea is to keep this a cheap as possible, so where some space in someone's boot can be utilised I'd like to do that.

Ailwyn,
Confirmation that I can get Tony's shipped up.
Sorry Woody (and others). It will be the family travelling up, so I can't offer to make drops at Nottingham etc. BTW Woody, I'm not psychic - I double posted then saw your post, so thought I could put it to good use!
I could also take Darrens and put it with the roll bar if he wants.

Ailwyn,
I've just told my bank to send the loot to you.
Sorry for the delay-couldn't get home last night due to floods.
I'm in Worcestershire and will be happy to make arrangements with whoever receives the bulk supply or wait till Stoneleigh if necessary.
Thanks for your efforts.
