I don't know what the garage is called, but if you go along the A120 and over the A12 at Marks Tey then follow the signs for Colchester Zoo (as we were) it is just along I think the B1408. Its really not far from the A12.

PS Mine is "custard" and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Very slightly off my route, but well worth the detour around South Colchester.

Dave

Yes, I've kinda-sorta been thinking about coming along to the show in Bishops Stortford. Not exactly my sort of fund-raising venture (OK, not even slightly !) but its close and I thought one of my kids might enjoy it. I'll have to talk to the rest of the family and see what else we have planned. Overall last year how long were you there?

Not a lot of detail in that ad though. Not even a mention of SE or N/A.

Saw a man with a shock of blonde (or might have been white!) hair driving a NM Elan top down stuck in traffic North bound M11 just before the Harlow junction at about 15:30 yesterday.

Didn't wave or toot as we were in a silver galaxy, so rather incognito.

Just seen an M reg S2 park outside a flat just outside Lichfield City Centre.

It looked grey to me, but i am colour blind so it could have been blue or green :?

... or someone has caught him with that blonde wig on!

Well we were on our way to see Scissor sisters at the O2 Dome, so even if it was it wouldn't have been the weirdest thing we saw all day ;-)

(Very nice blonde in the passenger seat too!) :-D

Thought it might be Gordon Twist at the time, but the wheels looked standard.

Exchanged waves with the driver of a Palacio S2 on the A4440 south of Worcester, this morning at about 0745.

Second sighting of this car.

Might be the Fellacio purple one featured in Classic and Sports Car a couple of years ago ? I think they only made about a dozen in that colour and I heard it was up for sale recently. Maybe went to a good home near you Sy ?

Spotted on Tues/Wed/Thur/Fri this week a lovely NMY Elan in Essex. Oh yes, and its mine.

The kids have been away for a week so our trusty Elan got promoted to daily drive (well not for me so much 'cos I work at home) but the wife has enjoyed it, and I got a blast over to Braintree and back. Driving back at 23:15 with the top down was great. (and just as we caught up with plod it was my exit, so that avoided any embarassment ;-) )

I'm pleased that the opportunity to drive it co-incided with the first week of good weather since about April. Pity we didn't have the same when we took it to Matlock camping a few weeks ago.

You should have let us haggis bashers know Gary and we could have arranged a meeting somewhere en-route - then you could have "spotted" us !
