The bit beneath the front spoiler

When my car was up on the ramp getting aligned today i noticed what John had pointed out when he first checked my car, that i only had half of the protective bit that runs underneath the very front of the car, beneath the front spoiler.

I can't for the life of me remember however what he called it, i have even less than half now as the road to the alignment place was ironically a minefield. I took a brief look through the body service manual but couldn't find a reference.

What's this bit called? And is it easy to fit a new one?

It is the radiator underpanel it is held on by 4 m10 bolts

Hi,
I realise this will make me sound like a total noob but that's is because I am :) The black plastic plate under the front bumper is called the radiator underpanel? I recently broke mine coming off a ferry, (wasn't my fault either) I still have the rubber lip but it's the black plastic sheet under the car I'm after.
Can anyone lend some advice please?

They are still available, but as i'm also a noob I can't remember where I saw them :-D

Probably South West Lotus? £35 rings a bell price wise.

I recently bought a new front undertray (protects the bottom of radiator) from SJ sportscars part no. SJ100B0002 for my car, its fibreglass and well made cost £30.80 +vat very easy to fit as well, just couple of bolts.

wait a minute!

are we talking radiator underpanel or just the simple rubber lip under the front painted spoiler ??

sounds like the latter to me.

I'm just saying that he hasn't replied yet and the description certainly applies to the rubber lip too ? ? ?

Sj Sportscars were very helpful and also very nice to deal with, the underplate and rubber lip have been ordered for a very reasonable price of £46 in total. Of course shipping will cost a bit extra but it really is worth it.
