Some F&*king w@nker last night while parked by missus's house threw paint stripper all over the top of my boot and tail of my car!!!
The paint work has bubbled up and come off in some places !
What can i do!!! Dont think its worth claiming on insurance.
Will i be able to touch this up at all?

Maybe pay a bit more and have a full respray?
I hope I never catch anyone causing damage to mine as i'd end up serving a long sentence.

Agree with most of this, except the 'pay a bit more'....
The chances of a perfect colour match are slim, and anyway, I'm sure if you looked again (a bit harder this time) you may even find extraneous splashes over most of the panels
.
On a GRP body, it may have eaten into the gelcoat (depending on exactly which corrosive substance was used, and need an experienced GRP body man to put it right - it could well be more than the £1k 'estimate'.

Thanks for the replies fellas,
The colour of my lotus is pacific blue, will a standard spray shop be able to get this colour? I will try get a full respray, also get my hood cleaned as the vandals threw oil all over it aswell. The car next to mine got a lot worse paint stripper on every panel ! There was an audi TT that only had oil thrown on his hood luckily that guy drove home at about 11pm and didn't get the damage that followed later ..
I'll start getting some quotes in for a full respray

Dave, really sorry to hear about your car!!
Why not post where you are and someone might be able to point you in the direction of a good bodyshop who will do your car proud. Might be worth posting on Pistonheads as well to get a general concensus. Hopefully out of this rotten luck your car will come out of this looking brand new.
