longest day and all that....21st in 2007 I think
LM is the 16/17th so youve got 3 or 4 days to get back!!!!

agreed, my point being the race is usually the sat/sun before the solstice to minimise the night driving.

They have two - they're there on the 8th/9th September, which is the only one I can do, really.

Im guessing what with the 'host' up to his eye balls with everything and taking time out from anything he can in order to spend a little more time with family etc....it might end up being next year......
unless we organise something between ourselves and have Sy as a guest...
I was quite happy to get everyone free tickets to the Oulton Park Gold Cup for August BH weekend where theyd let you camp n tsuff.......but it seems that it coincides with a track day on the monday at bedford which some are going to.....
the people not going to bedford are more than welcome but the date isnt flexible.......
cheers
G

The reason for me not updating this thread is that the contract (under which we rent the land out to the present woman with her rescue ponies) is up for renewal early this summer.
Because of her propensity to forget monthly payment (every now and then) we want shot of her.
There is no knowing how amenable any future tenant is likely to be to our camping plans.
I appreciate that the later I can confirm whether it's a goer means that we risk losing a lot of would-be campers with date clashes etc. But, at this point, my hands are tied, and I can promise nothing, I'm afraid.

Does that threat relate to the secret colour of Missy, or the story from the last event in your paddock about Stevo, the bottle of whisky, the stripper, the herd of sheep and the pipe baaand of the Scots Guards?
