Can I play please. We're not a Prawn Cocktail club yet, however we've just knocked Wigan out of the Carling Cup and will be doing the same to Chelsea in the next round :D

Spent the afternoon trying to get a hot bird into a Vantage. Told her I was fed up cos Everton lost and she said "whats Everton".

At least they held out for a respectable defeat. I'll watch the game and see if it was deserved or not. Least were not struggling with our toes in the relegation zone!!!

March 1966 my Dad took me to my first game at The Lane.

We were 5-1 up against the Villa at half time, but conspired to let them back in, and then we hung on for a 5-5 draw

It's been a bumpy (and pretty potless) 41 years since, but to actually see the visitors throw away a 3 goal lead, and for us to make the comeback so many other teams have made on our ground, leaves me utterly amazed. Even more so as it was against the Villa. Comical football at times, but always entertaining.

Maybe the tide is turning for Jolly Jol - maybe it's too late - who knows?

And to see those legends from the sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties, and this decade made me realise how young I am

God bless you Sir Bill, and rest in peace with my dear old Dad in that big football stadium up in the sky.

And thank the Lord I'll be on the I.O.M this weekend in Elan heaven when the mighty Spurs go to Anfield

If only we could aspire to be that high up at the end of the season

The one consolation is that Sir Alex (in post match interview) stated that Birmingham were the toughest team they have played this year :?

All I can think is that they have some difficult fixtures left :-)

Tottenham v Villa what a game.

I couldnt believe it. Saw it was 3-1 and thought that was the end of JOL or is it LOL.

Tottenham some great players but not a great team.

Where else does this seem to be the case. :(
