Hi folks, can anyone tell me if these (just trying to be certain) are the side marker lights that (at least on a Fed car) are amber in the front and red in the back? The front ones are just ahead of the wheel well and the rear ones are just behind the rear wheel. If so, do we know if these fit the fed car as well? Thanks!

hopefully others will answer, but I think you are referring to the side indicators that are only on Federal Elans--they're reflectors with lites in the center.
The common/usual "side repeater" is just behind the front wheels on non-US Elans--this is the repeater light that come on all modern cars now--this has a clear replacement lens.

There's also a clear replacement lens for the front marker light lens, which is the one in front under the headlights that is held by the 2 screws.

Thanks Doug, I had a suspicion that these weren't the same lights on the Fed cars. Was hoping to possibly find clear lenses for those..............

Seen the clear lens for the front of the car and I may do something there.

I want to purchase some of these today.

Do I need to order the harness's as well.

Sy seems to think not...

Cheers

I got mine from a mini spares place on ebay. Didn't need a harness. Just a case of undoing the bulb holder from the lens unit, popping the old lens unit out, put the new bulb in and refit the harness to the lens unit and pop the unit into the hole in the wing.

Chap on ebay I got mine from (delivered in under 24hours) has some more

I have mine fitted now...

The hardest part was taking the silcone sealer that mine had been fixed in with off. After I had managed that the job was very easy.

I think they look much better.

Thanks for the link Benmac...

No problem, for the ease of fitting them they make a huge difference.

Yep, looks like they'll do to me.
Just let someone else confirm first though please.

But I got mine from Europa Spares (the name is purely coincidental BTW) - much cheaper.

Any idea if they're still availeble in 2010 ?
I would prefer the smoke version above the white, but I might have to settle with what I can find...
