Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace, sounds caress my ears but not a word I heard could I relay, the story was quite clear - Robert Plant

Clemo,

If you are willing to wait the best option to drive Castle Combe is the annual Club Lotus track day held each year on the Saturday of the late May Bank Holiday Weekend. Usually around £75 for a guaranteed 2 sessions (you can buy more guaranteed sessions in multiples of 2 for the same price). Open pit lane once all guaranteed sessions are complete (usually early/mid afternoon) I have managed 5 sessions (only booked 2) but this year only 3 owing to good weather (lots of people staying on) and track closure (lost time) owing to an accident. A civilised day and a Mountain Chipped Elan can run well. Circuit looks straightforward in plan but Quarry is tricky to get right and there is not much run off before the Armco.

Certainly plan to do it again next year. I'll let you know when Club Lotus put out the application forms, best to book early as it fills up quite quickly.
