Have been working on my hard top, trying to refit to new car.
What I've found is that the hood is fouling with the bodywork when it folds back -just behind the b posts so preventing the hard top from sitting on the seal.
Any ideas as to whether this can be corrected/adjusted- please dont suggest cutting a slot out of the panel- my mate did that when he was helping!!!

Would taking the B-post caps off help. I always remove mine when fitting the hard top.

Have been throught some of the paperwork I have on the car and this has been off just before I bought it. Methinks it may not have been refitted correctly.
I need to have the boys look at it on Sunday. If not theres a hell of a lot of weight to put behind it!!!!!!

Seem to have resolved the problem now as the frame was jamming. Broke a b- post cap trying to sort it though--- s**t!!!!
Dont suppose you have one of those as well Dave?

Apologise, but my computer bombed out last night and I lost a lovely picture of a Steel Grey (sorry blue) Elan with a large black labrador on the roof taking a dump.
