Just that it was my first time taking this car there without changing all the intake pipes to the original black rubber hoses.
And also I wondered how much the smog check gent would know about re-circulating the BOV

Holy cow Brian.
That looks pretty neat .. in a mean way. Very shiny too. Been thinking that the next respraying -- don't know when yet -- would be that shade ... deeper shade of green.
M101?
Love those black rims.

I'm pretty sure those scoops wouldn't clear the engine though

but I like it -- where do we get the headlight units from?

Thanks Doug. Stripes will return.
Now I enjoy waxing the whole bonnet, staying low and off CHP's range... for a while.

I agree.
Now more babbling...
Sweet dream I had lastnight... That I forgot to close my coolant tank and drove out somewhere. then it boiled up and there I had my coolant problem all over again....
Woke up this morning shaking my head... Must be Elan-crazy...
Later that afternoon ...
Stepped out from the company getting ready to jump in to my car heading back home, I notice some water stain coming from underneath my car... OK... might came from the other car... On freeway.. 1/2 temp scale all the way driving back home. Parked my car and saw the trace of coolant dripping all along my path....Heard the waterpump... sounded like it's pumping more air in the hoses.
WTH.. OK... I'll try to deal with it later tomorrow..

Two questions:
Is that a genuine Lotus coolant tank or generic GM equivalent?
What's the vacuum tube/valve device in the background?
