Eddy/rip, do either of you two go up past Peterborough services or better still Kates cabin truckstop 2 minutes further up on the A1?
Looks like Elvis has nicked my seat again :?

I took the A605 last time, but I have a habit of taking different routes to get to the same place. This time I'll try the A1
I will be happy to pick you up from Kates Cabin. Northbound?

The only thing is that I do not usually get home from work until 6.00 so by the time I get there, it will probably be sometime after 7.00.

Cheers rippers,

Yep, Kates Cabin is Northbound (only). Go past the A605 and it is around 4-5 hundred yards further on. You will see the 300-200-100 yard markers before the turn in. I think its a BP garage. I'm round the back with the scruffy truckers :-)
Elton's dead easy from there. I'll PM you my number.
I'm normaly sloshed come 7pm

The M11/A605 roundabout was closed last night, Some hebert trucker didn't brake at the roundabout and took a 20-30 foot dive

Just phoned the Crown up and tried to book a table. They are all in a flap now (as usual). Got to speak to the chef to see if he can manage (didums)

I'm sure it will be fine

They did not exactly struggle to fit us in last time we were there. Maybe they are in a panic about having enough staff?

To avoid confusion it is the Crowne Inn!!

Come off it Dico, they always make a fuss, but it isn't normally a problem and they seem to fit us in to the crowded restaurant
