Smashed window - drivers side and rattle from CAS

Due to me being a moron I left the drivers door open the other day whilst the car was on the ramp in the garage. Ramp goes up window goes POP ! What a tit.

So.........I need to know:

Where can I get a window? How much is fitting?

The reason the car was on the ramp was there is a horrible rattling noise coming from the Cam Angle Sensor - would it be best to fit a new one or can this type of problem be addressed?

Sounds like the bearing in the cas has gone. They are available in the states at a reasonable price. ($100 ? + postage + duty)
Have a look at jimbobs thread in the 'Project' section. I'm sure he posted the part numbers there.

I have full SE Torbo as spare at mo but that was the window I broke! Glad it wasn't mine, you'll see it for sale soon I'd imagine - just new hood and an MOT and sort stuck wastegate.

I'll put it on here first rather than e-bay - I rekon about £3k. BRG H plate 99 thousand miles with shoddy re-spray (not that bad)

Later today, I'm delivering a car to Surpherphil in High Wycombe.
In the boot are two side windows - already removed.

You might want to approach him.

FYI windows come in two tints - Greeen and brown (bronze). These are green - but you can hardly tell them apart.

Not sure if this is the same thing, however Lotus are selling off surplus stock of a Hall sensor not too well up on this but may be worth a look

The hall effect sensor HES is the electrical sensor inside the CAS. It sounds like SJ has a problem with the bearings in his CAS so, unfortunately, replacing the HES will not solve his problem.
