frankly this october has been better than the rest of the summer this year. Voted in the affirmative btw
Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?

We're still in the planning stage however tickets are likely to be between £150 and £200, the lower the better. Hotel room are looking at being either £55 for a single or £75 (per room) for a double, inc brekkie.
Location is looking like it will be Eynsham Hall, Oxfordshire.
Date is most probably going to be mid October 2008.

ok thanks. So that will be around £400 for a couple (plus drinks) I presume ?
Is it just a ball, or something extra too ?
You will need to avoid half term in October I guess

it's going to be a superb event. Both roger Becker and MJK will be there as guests of honour (blackman)....it is 007 themed.
The day before you should get there early as there will be Quad bike riding, motocross etc. Bibs feel free to add the info you gave me today as it disappeared immediately \i put the phone down and someone mentioned car sale!

Them LEF boys and girls are hard to follow at the best of times, but then they break down more often and you can catch up with them.

This event has been put on ice for this year I'm afraid. There is another event which will be on a date which is too close to make our number viable so the 'Bond Bash' has been moved to 2009. Hopefully we'll be able to book it at the height of summer too rather than in October.
Unfortunately the cost of this event and liabilities if we don't pull it off are big numbers and I can't take that risk. Sorry!

Bibs
I'm sure the members hear will understand. I alluded to this possibility in another thread after we met last week.
Thanks for letting us know.

thats ok...it should give everyone no excuse really.....
there is now about 18 months before the event so £20 a month from here on in pays for list member and partner
at least I wont have to tell the wife how much tickets are now......
I’m normally not a praying man, but if you’re up there, please save me, Superman.
