Another thumbs up for the pics Carl, but with a couple of noteable exceptions:

1) None of the stand! :cry:

Hi, Joslers mate here.

Nice to meet some of you at the show on sunday, it was a good turn out and the weather blessed us in the afternoon. I did wish the Elan had the same heating system my S2000 has, i was bloody freezing. I had to resort to sitting on my hands on the way back as i'd forgot to bring some gloves.

Jos needs to get a wind deflector ASAP. ;-)

BTW here's my S2000 (with no soul as Stef put it :lol:

I'm sure i'll frequent a few more meets sometime in the future. :-D

I was just commenting to him today that he drives his Mondeo faster than the Elan. :-D

Yep, LoT will be doing the Donny trackday on the Saturday 29th March which is £160 till 1/12 then it`s £180, so i`m deffo going to book this :-D

They will be doing the same as last year were u can get a 3 laps as a passanger ride for £5 which goes to charity.

Doug it would be good to see you again and your more than welcome to a pax ride :wink:

The Elan does have a potent heater! Jos maybe has a faulty vacuum heater valve and the coolant may not be flowing to the heater core well enough--otherwise the air should be HOT!! I put seat heaters into my Elan's seat (when I had it) and it was fabulous with the top down even in cold air. Never had a wind deflector, but that would help even further.

Jos, maybe worth changing out your heater valve--there's info on it on the site and in the Forum and it's a Jag part and cheap too!

The air that was coming out was hot when we weren't driving, i think it was the cold air that was coming in because it hadn't got a wind deflector like mine.

Ive also booked in with LOT for the Saturday trackday. Im doing it in the Elise as Liz will not let me use the Elan for trackdays. She just wants to drive it to Donny herself i think

I have to say Dave....at Least he was infront of us when it went pop!
