Has anyone had the protective clear plastic film that is fitted to some of the High end cars applied to their car.
I think it is usually fitted to the front of the car and halfway up the bonnet also just in front of the rear wheels.
I wondered if our car has the template already made and how much it costs.
Cheers
Tony

IIRC
£40 from Will B for the rear wheel arch sets.

Tony, Jossler's had this done over most of front end, & it looked very good. I think he did post something about it, try PM'ing him ?

Josler has used Venture Tape. If you do a search for that, you should find it. I think he just put 2 small strips on his roof stowage compartment though. Just enough to stop the roof damaging the paintwork. It is very unobtrusive. You have to look closely to see it.

I've been on Armourfend website and asked for a quote and nearest fitting centre.
Cheers

I've had venture tape (aka Rhino protect) fitted to the VX and have to say i'm very impressed. Before having it done i was picking up loads of stone chips but the front of the car looks untouched now. While the guy was fitting it i talked about getting the hood stowage lid done on the elan and he said that he would do the whole of the lid and you wouldn't see any lines/joins. cos your cutting the whole sheet you'd have to pay the same price as what Josler has had done. Hope that makes sense.
Frankly if i was having the bits done in front of the rear wheels i would do it myself with the venture tape kit but i would have to have it resprayed first cos it looks like a dogs breakfast at the mo. fitting requires a cleanish environment and water with mild detergent in it.
I reakon that we could get a group buy on these kits - do you want me to enquire?
Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?
