But Dave Eds & DaveT both live quite a way from Peterborough. It would be nice for their sake if we had a meet a little further South. It may mean that Nobby would be able to join us too.

You may find that if you drive an Elan far enough, the engine gets warm enough to make the heater start working

Sorry I forgot, you'll be in the Jag.

Thanx for the thoughts Rip but best to ignore me as I'm definitely the odd man out and at the end of the day it was my choice to associate with the East Mids rabble. I may not be around much longer to be able to contribute to the group anyway- best plan without me.

Hope you will still be able to come Dave. I am happy to research some hostelries in the St Ives/Huntingdon area which hopefully is reasonably accessible for most. Amongst the prophets out there does any one know which weekend the sun is going to shine next yr. so we choose the right one!!

We could always ask Josler. He managed to pick out a warm, sunny day when he took us round Red Bull. That was no mean feat considering the poor summer we had.

Please bear in mind that once the evenings draw out sufficiently, our meets become evening ones, & if there in the near vacinity of the A1 & on a tuesday night , our illustrious friend ( who's been with us from the begining ! ) Mr Dico, is wanting to attend.

If its as good as the last jaunt it will be a great day out ! I will have to see nearer the time as we are building the new cars ,but with lots of new people starting and going on shift things might be easier this season.
