Nick, just to let you know, I've spoken with the pub and they have upped the numbers to 21. I've passed on details of James's order:-

Soup
Turkey
Cheesecake

but if there are any problems on the day, James or I will find an alternative
Regards

Mark/.

Hi All

Very pleased the lunch went so well, good food and good company (even that bloke in the red shirt)

Gorgie from the Royal Oak sent her thanks to Jim for the photos and e-mailed me as follows:

Hi Nick,

Thank you for that, yes the link did work. Glad to hear all had a good time.

I told the others I would let you know if we are open on the 2nd January, we have decided to close on the 7th January now so we will be open on that day after all.

Let us know if anybody wants to come along and we will reserve parking spaces again.

Hope you all have a great Christmas and a brill new year, see you soon,

Georgie and Paul.

Nick,

Excellent, once again, a really good bash.

So, are we going to switch to RO for the 2nd January meeting?

Cheers

Jim

p.s. Chris, no Jen didn't find her earring. Mildly annoying as she'd only bought the bl**dy things the day before.

Nick,

Thanks for organising an enjoyable lunch, food was excellent. I'd be happy to go to the Royal Oak instead of the Hen and Chickens for our monthly meet, its marginally closer for me (although there is little in it). I'll keep an eye on this thread to see what the general consensus is and go with the flow.

Many thanks Nick, we all had a great time, the boys included.

As for the RO, definitely happy to go back there for the monthly meet.

Just to let you know that I've had most of the needed repairs done, and the new alternator works a treat: a rock solid 14+V even with everything electrical switched on - so no more flat battery worries!

Front suspension arm from Steve has been fitted as well - thanks Steve. I have to say it's improved the handling no end.

I'll tell you about the petrol tank saga at the next meet
Regards
