It was mine ('Scuse the short reply got horrendus jet-lag)
Hi Joe,
Your dad popped in yesterday and said hi. Mentioned he was 'borrowing' the Elan whilst you were away.
I understand you are having head gasket trouble

I know the feeling. Had a raft of problems witht the coolant system last year, until I diagnosed the head gasket. Got it sorted and haven't had a probs since. If you need any help with it let me know. One of my best friends did mine and is a little more reasonably priced than a lotus dealership.
If you are passiing by the leisure centre any time, pop in and we can compare notes.
Matt

Not a normal spotted. Does anyone else on here watch 'The Garage' on Discovery about a garage of brit mechanics in Spain.
Have it on at the moment and whilst not featured in the background whilst they're fixing a mini is a blue SE or NA with a UK plate which they are obviously doing something on the door on judging by where you can see them looking. Looks like the owner is watching the work.

The M100 was seen in the Scottish Borders - saw it again yesterday and it was G--- SVV not H--- SVV

Approx 1245 on 19th Dec Tescos car park at Martlesham Heath near Ipswich. On my way to the cash machine and looked in my mirror to see a purple S2. Slammed on the anchors and got out to chat to the driver. It was dirty and a bit tatty considering it was a garage queen- "I only do about 600 miles a year" Thats less than Gary, and I'll do that in a weekend. No wonder I've not seen it round. WTF- why wait till one of the shittiest saltiest days of the year to take it out?

So have you sent the details to Gazza yet?
Just waiting for the spotted post from a Palacio S2 owner: "I has driving out of the Tesco car park at Martlesham Heath near Ipswich at 12:45 on 19th December when this idiot in front slammed on his brakes, jumped out the car and verbally abused me. He was either on drugs, drunk or foreign (or all three) as I couldn't understand a word he was saying. He then asked me for money for the electricity meter - "LEC, LEC" he kept babbling menacingly. He then started pointing at my car and at one point, I thought he was going to remove my wheels. I tried to explain that I had a 600 mile drive ahead of me as I was off to visit my sick relatives in Aberdeen. My, there are some strange people out there and that was the worst example of road rage I've experienced."
