IIRC general thinking is somwhere between 26 and 31...
just depends on your tyres, the current state of wear and how you like the car to ride :?:

Check in the back of your owners handbook - I'm sure 28.5 psi was the recommended tyre pressure with the original Michelin tyres ? IIRC there was a slightly different psi for N/A's ???

My S2 handbook says 29 psi all round for Pilots.

Service bulletin 1996/01.
For the pressure values shown in the bulletin,
1.8bar = 26psi
2.0bar = 29psi
2.3bar = 33psi

Just for the record,
It's in Technical data at the back of the manual and referrers only to the tyres the car was fitted with originally. My Yokohamas are 35-44 psi (its written on the side of the tyre). ~10 psi more than the MXX-2 tyres recommended in 1991!

I've only ever seen maximum pressures marked on sidewalls (my Pilots are 50PSI max). Is this a new innovation?

Yes, max psi is marked at 44. I usually put in 38 the other figures were advised at the time of purchse.

I followed the good advise of WillB :-D

Its really good to drive, so much fun, even just about town! It gets lot's of attention too so I feel safer than in the BRG Elan or the blue Mitsubishi. :wink:

The track Elan will be Custard too! :-D

IMHO 35psi+ is way to high, i don`t even put that in the van

When doing a trackday i`ve been down to 19psi cause i can get 8 to 10 psi increase as the tyres warm up

Are you on low profiles with 16" wheels? I have 15" wheels and it's just road use for this car, mostly motorway, 28 psi drags a bit; the tyres are softies.
