Lotus Elan Central

Here are the first pictures ive taken of my Elan S2 since I bought her two weeks ago from Paul Matty. I am nothing but amazed by its style,quality and performance after only a few weeks. I feel so proud to be 21 and a proud owner of an Elan. Enjoy my pictures!

The only thing i would say is to remove the Lotus badges on the A panel near the wings, but thats just MHO

How come? Are these not standard to the S2 or is it just a not like thing lol. I also got some clear side indicators to go on now.

no its not standard, i dont mind it, but its not exactly subtle, perhaps a pressed metal plate would look better, or nothing of course.

realy tidy tooking car by the way, and its recindled my desire for cream leather.

Cheers mate ... Yea I love the interior very much. Just gota sort her out with a red tinted cd player and a set of new speakers.

When i was 21 if i think back at the time i had an Astra gte.

And back then i thought it was the boll*cks.. :lol:

Yea I know. My first car was a Proton Compact 1.3 and then I moved onto the Lotus Engineered Proton Satria GTI. Ive always loved to have a car that was unique and everything the Elan is and Saxos arn't lol.

Yea I will certainly be there at Donington ... im well excited at the prospect of so many Elans there. Bring it on guys and gals lol

I had my first at the age of 21 - enjoy it. I thrashed the hell out of mine but never had an accident and only got pulled once.

When I look back at this LUCK was all I account that for. Enjoy but please be careful

From one CJ to another.... Nice car!!! and it's only 6 after mine

I'm not a fan of the extra Lotus badges though :shock:

At least it would make it easy to find in a car park full of red ones if you go to Donington :wink:

Its fine mate ... it costs me £98 / month fully comp with limited milage at 10,000! This is with Lancaster through Zurich Classic Car Insurance using one years no claims.

HAHA yep another CJ ... lol ... yea im undecided on the Lotus badges also but hopefully not too many people in the car park with have the same Clifford Concept 300 alarm as me ... that may help finding the car at Donington lol.

blimey.......insurance people know how to charge...£1176 thats one heck of a chunk........dont know what the going rate for the under 25's is but I had XR2 around that time in life and seem to remember thinking that £200 was steep....... :shock:
