East midland thread has run out of steam ( & carp ) , but the worrying fact is that all the carp postings appear to have spread to all other threads, could this be cosidered a ' VIRUS ' situation ?

You're right. EM banter has been appearing on threads all over the site.

Hi Guys sorry i havent been on here for a while but i was getting use to life with one more in the house 8) I have a couple of ideas for pub venues in St Ives : http://www.oldferryboat.com/default.htm

http://www.pikeandeelhotel.co.uk/

I have been to both and they are good pubs with great food ,but i havent been for a while so i hope the are still good. ;-)

These might be good pubs unless anyone else has any other venues in mind .

Is it going to be at the weekend still?

Both the Pike and Eel and the Ferry Boat are old regular haunts from my RAF Brampton days.
Neither are actually in St Ives itself where there are some stonking boozers, but parkings a complete canute!

If you want any more suggestions... ask.

I'll f**k back out of your thread now...
