This qualifies for an E.L.A.N. nomination on three counts...

It's well punctuated, informative and mentions the word shite twice.

The browser should try and match to the nearest colour, if it's pallet is different from the web site code. But the image has it's own pallet which the browser does not change; as the pixel colour code is in the bitmap file (jpg, gif, bmp etc) not in the html.
The browsers may have 2 totally different pallets especially if one is 32 bit and the other 64 or if one is good and the other is shite.... it's just because it's shite isn't it!
