Respray in South East UK?

Postby Helluva_Guy » Mon 19.04.2004, 10:28

Can anybody recommend a reasonably priced body shop located in the SE UK for a complete respray? I've been quoted £2K (!!!!) by Sovereign Coach Works in Hastings and am sure there must be a lower cost alternative.

Also, has anybody used "Wicked Wheels" to refurbish their alloys? If so any good?

Thks in advance!

I had the front end of mine (steel blue) done 3 years ago by a guy called Andrew Jackson who has a bodyshop in Canterbury. This is who Motorway Sportscars (Kent dealer) recommended.

I can't give you any idea of the current price, but I am happy with the job he did.

Hi

I wondered what the final result was re your search for a decent Elan body shop? I'm Hants based and looking for a recommendation. My usual spray shop (for my... ahem, Mondeo) was honest enough to say he wouldn't touch the job.

Any joy?

Cheers

Simon
er... funny comment that becomes a tad boring when you've read it a million times
