Alonso is a great villan, (in the british eyes) and lewis is a great villan in the spainish eyes..
this is actually quite good for the sport..
take away the racist stupidity its created a massive media hype which has created a stonger nationality following..

one of the guys i employe said to me "that lewis did well much better than that tosser alonso in 4th "

i said to him "yes but didn't heidfeld do a great job..."

reply "who"

THE GUY WHO CAME SECOND !!!!

he watched 2 people race out of the whole grid !
sad , but its getting bums on seats watching ,

so senna prost mansell
hill schumacher
lewis alonso

bring it on !!

It`s great news to hear that the BBC have got F1 back from next year.

NO ADVERTS !!!!

Or daft competitions, `celebrity` interviews, and with a bit of luck, no James Allen either.

I hope they bring back Fleetwood Mac, and the only two bits of ITV`s efforts that were any good, Simon Taylor and Tony Jardine.

Has anyone noticed how very few drivers will now talk to Martin Brundle on his grid walk ? Initially Alonso refused to talk to him, now none of them will. I think their lack of impartiality has been their downfall. ITV have spent a decade dumbing F1 down, in my opinion.

brundle is the best comentator f1 has ever had.. he spots things from a drivers eye and understands whats happening on the track and in the rule book..
he does respect the drivers by not hasseling them just before the begining of a race and when he does get an interview asks informative car/stratagie questions.
i can't see anyone else giving bernnie a hard time about the british grand prix live to camera .... can you?

also , i can't see team owners like williams, toyota, red bull letting any old tv presenter driving their cars for an inside f1 section..

brundle is the best thing about itv f1

as for james allen whos not bias in f1 even though his son is called enzo and he has writtern 2 ferrari books..
scrap him.

louise goodman seems to be in the right place at the right time so she can stay.

and ted kravits .. seems good enough..

however to bring back pinky and perky (tony and simon) is a waste of time money and effort.. they were terrible and so was count von count .. he asked questions , never listenend to the answer and tried to be to contraversial.

i hope this is a good thing f1 moving back to bbc .
i hate adverts
but where is the extra revenue going to come from....
the licence payer?

No it's coming out of existing sports coverage funding apparently.

If we're really lucky they'll scrap the male half of Wimbledon and the Golf.

It has to come from the licence payer, we are there only form of income, & its wrong because why can't we have the choice of not having BBC, all the other channels finance themselves :!:

Paul

I don't deny that it comes from the taxpayer.
Dave asked, about extra revenue. To which I replied no, because they said yesterday that it would come from existing funds.

If you want to watch golf and male tennis players, that's your call mon ami!

Apparently not. I have been told that BBC provide coverage of lots of things then sell it off to other TV companies.

Oilver wrote:I hope they bring back Fleetwood Mac

Me too. That was a great piece of music. Sadly, I fear they will try to 'update' their coverage by replacing things like that. We shall have to wait and see though. For now at least, you'll just have to keep listening to Rumours. :D

Do i take it the reason you only watch the ladies is sexual  , or am i barking up the wrong tree here :?
Ive got no problem with peeps paying tv licence to pay for BBC if there bothered about adverts spoiling there viewing, just think we should have a choice, like do i pay & have Sky or not. We're supposed to live in a free, democratic society............now thats bollocks Geoff :!:

Gets worst for McLaren

The McLaren drivers have both been moved five places down the Malaysian Grand Prix grid as a punishment for impeding Nick Heidfeld and Fernando Alonso in qualifying.

The drivers must of known there were still others out doing there Qualiy laps :? so why slow down on the racing line

and hamiltons tyre choice was a bit suspect but it was the pit stops that did him. Trulli did well though. Felt sorry for Mark Webber what the hell happened to him?
