I`ve posted this here on behalf of Lotus On Track, should be a great day out just wish i lived a wee bit closer :roll:

Lotus celebration - Easter Sunday - discounted tickets..

MSV have done us a great deal again..

£6 each for the sunday inc. p&p - currently £10 each plus £1.50 p&p if you buy direct or £12 on the day.

kids 12 and under are FREE..

if you want to attend truckfest on bank holiday monday as well then an inclusive ticket for sunday & monday is just £16 - basically means you get the ticket for sunday FREE..

I enjoyed this last year (especially the lap round the track), but I'm not sure the Elan will be back on the road by then...

Hmm, I might try to go in a (cough) Elise, which I can borrow.

Ah, I've discovered a secret - they'll wave to other Elises, just not to older Lotuses. Think it's because most of them don't recognise them :roll:

Good to see you too and brilliant timing on your part to stroll by just as I was unloading the Elan! Heavily outnumbered by the Elises but nice to see a few other Elans had braved the snow.

Some good action on the track. Think my littl'un had the right idea: slept in the buggy under several blankets after lunch, only waking up just in time for the Elise races. Going to have to give the car a serious clean before Goodwood on 6 April.

I went shortly before the Elise races, along with the 8 or so from LEF. EE was parked around the back of the main stand along with the Esprits too.

Bibs has posted some photos on LEF. I never felt the urge to get my camera out (apart from snapping the other 4 Elans there).

Rip just got your text - not a mobile person generally so sorry for late pick up.

hats off to you guys, i went last year and it was fekkin freezing and i think it was colder out this year so i stayed at home. Had a bit of a sniffle as well which i hope will be ok for Dony.

The weather was evil. Definitely one of the coldest this winter.
A friend of mine was marshalling all day, stuck on Druids. No escape for him!

No wonder you never felt the urge to get your camera out - I'd have kept my hands in my pockets too.

I thought last year was bad enough (weatherwise) but this looks like a whole new league of cold. Hope it gets better for this weekend...
