Hmmmm it is almost worth buying a pair with an eye to making a future fast-buck at the expense of some desperate Elaner......

Candles,
off topic but do you know if the Motor World in Grantham sells Edge 10W/60?
only ask as it isn't the easiest to find on hi street but they sell it on line.

Men are like a fine wine.
They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the sh * t out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

Hi all,
Apologies, I was going to do the whole introduction bit but have been lurking for a couple of weeks doing lots of valuable research to help me find a good Elan. (Hopefully going to see a "good one" this evening)
But I came across this thread and am sure that once I do find the car of my dreams I will at some stage be needing a set of lower arms so if there's a spare set from your initial production run please count me in and let me know where I need to send funds
If I make a purchase this evening I promise I'll do the right thing and introduce it (and myself) to you all
Rufus

Just quickly browsing through the
service manual I noticed a caution about replacing rear suspension components and the need to know which chassis specification your car is - re Anti-Lift Angle
(section DD page 8 )
Probably been covered already I guess

yep.....all depends on if its a 2.5deg or 5 deg....
however after talking with lotus...if you get the latter bone...it fits both chassis
so that what we've made
