It occurs to me that as 2009 will be the 20th anniversary of the launch of our beloved M100, it might be an opportunity for a little celebration event of some description.
Maybe those kind folk at the factory would welcome us down there and even give us the opportunity to meet with some of the development team and have a go on their track. And if we could muster a good show of support, who knows, the factory might start to take the M100 seriously again and get on and produce those bl**dy A post seals they've been promising for so long!! The sight of 100+ Elans descending on Hethel must surely send some kind of message to them.
At worst, Club Lotus could be encouraged to put on a special show for the car at Donington next year and who knows, perhaps a mag like Classic and Sportscar maybe interested in a feature?
If nothing else, it's a great excuse for a party!!

Yes, I think it's an excellent idea.
My focus now is on the 60th Anniversay Celebrations later this year, but when I'm over at Hethel next I'll try to collar MJK and get his opinion.
He may want to wait until the Silver (25th) Anniversary though...
Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace, sounds caress my ears but not a word I heard could I relay, the story was quite clear - Robert PlantIn Respectful Memory - 21st March 1959 - 14th February 2016
