We are up for monkey world & lulworth cove, anyone got a date in mind (which month)?
Looks like we need to look for a new rendevous, thought jim would volunteer to do a rekky,

like the idea of changing night to a thursday, we still wouldnt be able to make all meets but it gets our thumbs up.
Anyone heard from Nick, i heard his tappety noise from his engine, but didnt know if he drove home or relayed it. I did pm nick, but had no reply, anyone got up to date info.

oh summer!! the time to go topless...

Yes, Nick was there on Wed - he got the car home. Started it up the following day, and .. .. no tappety noise!

Return to H&C whilst we sort out other options works for me. Tuesday would be marginally better than Wed, Thursday is not a good day for me.
As far as SS&S goes Lynn agrees that we could do the same as the year before last, ie RV for coffee and cakes and my place, dropping off BBQ food for a BBQ at my place before dispersal in the evening. Clearly this onlyworks for those who pass my place enroute to MW but going to MW makes it likely that both my Elans would be participating.

Hi All
Sorry Steve just noted there is a new message. Got home from Donny in a hire car as the Lotus came home on a recovery vehicle a few days later.
Tappets noise is back big time so its heads off soon.
Thursdays is good for us during the summer but come October till April the first Thursday in the month is out for me.
Monkey World

and we may actualy get Lynne to come out for the day in the Lotus!!
Fully agree on the pleasant *ucker. It was good for our xmas do but since becoming a gastro pub it's lost the atmosphere and the food is so expensive. So we are happy to meet wherever. The Star in Bently may be worth a look and has parking. The Bull on the A31 is a nice pub but parking can be a pain. There are several pubs in Alton as well. I like the sound of a pub crawl.
Regards
Nick

i take it that you mean to change pub and day of the week. shall we do it in stages?
Stage 1 - Move to thursday at the H & C starting next month
Please post you thoughts!
OK DECISION TIME!
The feeling seemed to suggest that Thursday was a better night - apart for Nige.
So, I propose that we meet next THURSDAY 1st May at the Hen & Chicken.
Who is up for it? I hope you are, Steve, because I need your part
Cheers
Jim

Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?

OK, sounds like we've got a quorum.
See you Thursday.
Hope it stops raining, 'cos I've washed and polished the Elan!
Bye for now

So, this Thursday, 1 May, at the Hen and Chickens?
Might be able to do that, dependant on Katie's diary and my taxi driving responsibilities. Certainly can't do next Wed anywhere, as I'm now away.
