Serpentine Charity Run

Presented by the
Cheshire Lotus Owners Group

Sunday the 29th June 2008

Open to all types of classic cars, sports cars and classic motorbikes
the event will start at 9:30am from The Buxton Community School and
involve a route though the Peak District National Park and some of
the UK's most beautiful scenery.
Entrants will be given their route maps at the registration point,
where they can also get refreshments (free tea and coffee, bacon
sandwiches at a small cost etc…), and from where they will also be
started at regular intervals.
The journey will be approximately 100miles and will involve several
stops at places of interest as well as stops for refreshments etc and
will culminate in a display of all the cars at the finish line in one
of the Peak Districts historic locations (it's a secret until you get
there) around mid afternoon.
This is not a race and the planned journey time though the Peak
District is to be around 4 hours to allow you to enjoy the scenery,
stop for lunch or a picnic as well as enjoy your driving experience.
There will be an entry fee of £10, which should enable a substantial
donation to the chosen local charities to benefit.

Please see the reverse for the entry form or Tel:- 01298 25590 to
request additional copies or further information

Email:- serpentinecharityrun@yahoogroups.com
web site:- http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/ser ... harityrun/

We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to our event

attendees will be entitled to a free ticket to the International Gold Cup at Oulton Park (August 24th and 25th BH weekend)

well what I mean is that I'll get tickets for everyone but if theyre start running out then they'll go to the people who came on the run first......

that said I'm looking into getting over 100 of us to the gold cup if possible

I'll be going as well. I had a great time last year - even though the weather wasnt good for the entire trip - but the scenery and roads were fantastic.

Its well worth the drive all the way up from WsM - and it supports a fellow LEC'ers event.

Its a shame that more people haven't signed up to it.

Gareth

A quick question if you don't mind. :?:

I've sent off my entry form and cheque? :) Does anything come back to me or do I just turn up with the car and register or whatever?

Thanks
Roland
