Silverstone Classics

Postby Freelander » Fri 27.06.2008, 10:34

Hi,

Anyone going to Silverstone Classics - 25/26/27 July?
Lotus is the featured marque this year with events on each day.
12.55 - "Silverstone & Lotus 60th Anniversary Track Parades & Demonstrations with 1948 BGP Grid and 60 Years of F1™"

Just got 2 x 3 day tickets with race card and in-field club / display parking for £59.00.

Hope to see you there...

Yes they will send you the tickets and the passes to drive to the infield and park up at the club lotus stand ;-)
ps they will ask for model and reg No. for passes, and drive to the main entrance not the public parking and there are Truvos on the 43

I am going for the entire weekend and my Elan will be on the club stand for the Lotus Drivers Club. If you are a member of the LDC you can order your tickets by June 30th (MONDAY) and get a discount using the code found on their website ... www.Lotusdriversclub.org.uk

See you all there ...

I've rung and got the half price tickets :-D , but they wanted to know if I'd arranged to show my car(s) with Club Lotus. Apparently the half price tickets are for people showing cars only.

Anyhow I assured them I had...

..so how do I arrange that , and do I want to ?

(and does it mean I have to join club Lotus ?)

I have gotten 2 for 1 because my Elan is a show car for Lotus Drivers Club. Club Lotus have a stand on aswell so get in touch with em otherwise.

Gary Club Lotus just wants the number of cars, so they can organise there allocated space, it is much more convenient to have the car in the infield for picnic or getting wet weather gear then walking out a long way to the public parking now you have the choice of either option

Another fantastic, friendly meeting, but split between sports cars and single-seaters.
