carlton switches

Does anyone know if these vauxhall carlton part numbers are right for our cars? Hazard-90316822 Rear foglamp-90316828. Im wanting to change the icons from orange to white. Cheers Holty

I'd like to do the same for the AC switch. But, you don't have to replace the entire switch. The part of the switch that has the space for the bulb and the little icon can be removed. Its just pops out (with a little bit of force of course. I suspect the carlton one is no different and you couls swap this piece out and keep the original switch in place in the event it doesn't work.
By the way, if you find an AC switch let me know!

Not numbers I've seen (check the Wiki) but that's not to say they are not right. As Blair says, you can just ping off the part with the logo and swap that with the original one. I'm sure dapinky has changed his hazard switch with a Carlton one so he may have a spare white logo.

Edit - Just been out to check - yep, one white one and one red one!

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

That would be sound. Only thing is my orange hazard switch icon has a funny line on it. I will take a picture of it and see what you think. Cheers Holty

no problem to me - it's only a spare for me to keep for when mine goes t*ts -up again!

No Air-con in my poor-mans version of the Elan (This is England - we don't need it in the summer, and most sensible people don't use the Elan in winter!)

Thought I had sourced some of these this week . Chap at work does banger racing and has a collection of cars awaiting their turn including 3 Vauxhalls of the right period, switches free if I removed them. Unfortunately none were the same as ours
