I have a client willing to pay for one for me, as long as I write it up, so I'm especially keen to find out that the company is OK. Quicksilver charge about £100.00 more than Peco, and are between production batches, and are of no interest to my editor ....

You could also try PMing Dave Jones via his LEC account - "David" on here, though he's only posted a handful of times

When I was negotiating the discount with David, PM's lay unread for months. DaveJones does have his own e-mail account at Peco who are a company in the UK however.
Suck the pips out of that one you e-mail harvesting spamming bastards!

Strive for perfection in everything. (given time)
Take the best that exists & make it better. (given inclination)
If it doesn't exist, create it. (God did)
Ignore what I say. (good advice)

Are Cybox and Peco one and the same thing, then?
And would a company really be so inept and stupid as to shut down completely for a month to move premises - without leaving a message to that effect on their web-page and answerphone? It beggars belief, surely?

Bad news indeed.

Don't forget that Dave Jones was a fellow Elan owner and thoroughly decent bloke. Maybe I pushed them too hard on the discount.

I hate the sort of people who say "I thought as much...."
Should we approach the receiver to buy the stock of 17 that Cybox had left before the collapse, as a Group buy?

That had crossed my mind as a Kitty swelling activity - it will be interesting to see if Cybox start trading again though.
