do you have a part number for the RC 550 injectors?

I've done a quick search on them and there seems to be 2 types available ie SATURATED INJECTORS or PEAK AND HOLD INJECTORS
which ones do we require?

RC Engineering PL8-550 are correct. Just make sure that they are a bosch style top. The injectors that they have pictured are not the ones you'll need. the bosch style are slightly different. I think Ekapol has pics of the injectors on the stripey thread

I'm with Monty in looking to go down the route of bigger injectors, etc.

In the the past I have had a Nissan GTiR with

550 injetors
Bigger MAF
Walbro fuel pump
Greddy Profec 2 Boost controller
Apexi Power FC ( ECU ) + commander


But from Maries messages we only need

550 injectors ( Marie why did you select RC injectors as there is lots to choose from, are the better than Sard or Denso etc )
Electronic boost controller
New ESM chip
3 bar Map Sensor MSD-2313

is this correct?

If so who is interested in getting this sorted.

I know its easy to get boost controllers from the Jap scene
Also 550 injectors but the will have to be same spec

I would like around the 300 BHP mark.

Seems weird that RC don`t list the 550 bosh type but do for the PL4-0750 (see picture)

I`m in no rush for these parts, just wanted to get the list off parts number of the required parts for the future install

Just a quick update as I'm taking a break at the mo'. All raw materials for the downpipes + intake and discharge plumbing, flanges and oil and water fittings have been aquired. I'm currently cutting the Stainless steel tubing for the downpipes. on a side note I also have all of the aluminum for the current BOV run. I'll hopefully get to this today as well. Project is underway gents

Yep thats progress. All of the upper portion of the downpipes have been cut, most have been tac welded to their flanges and 3 have their O2 sensor bungs tac welded in. Boatload of work done. Its kinda weird to think that all of these started life as a 180 Stainless U bend. I'm flying the next 6 days so unfortunatley I won't be able to make much more progress til next week.

Just incase your not doing them all with the O2 bung can i have one fitted to my downpipe as i may fit an O2 sensor in the future

All will be getting O2 sensor bungs. Makes building and disto easier. At the mo' Im short two flanges and my 1" bit is reallly dull so I'm working with what I've got. A new bit is on order and thw 2 last flanges should be available soon. Deffinitely shaping up though.

Had a little break today at home and managed to get alittle more work done. Beat up my hands alittle building these hoses. If anyone has had the "pleasure" of cutting and assembling braided steel lines you'll know what I mean. Won't have this luxury of going home for a few days.

I was planning on shipping as they are completed. Less stuff just lying around my shop at home.

The work has only just begun. Currently I'm in Medford, Oregon for an overnight. Alot more flying around to do in the coming days. When I do finally make it back I have quite a bit more work to do but the good news is that progress has been made. I'm gooing to try and make more headway on the downpipes in the coming weeks to knock those out.

ah yes, the black tape and cutting, little slivers, reverse course threads and twin wrenching. i don't envy you at all right now!!!

btw, i'm seriously looking into getting a heatshield and that 2.25" pipe from you. give me a holla when you're on the ground at home and try not to beat the crap out of anyone in the air

4 AN hoses are pain in the you know what. Try putting the fitting in to the hole 30% the size


It only gets better with anodized collar on.



Somehow we managed to make it happened with some cuts on her hand

No skimming, no short cut. Just labor went into building full racing specs hoses.
