I had a great time and recommend it to everyone. Some awesome cars here and some of the strangest designs.

I was not expecting the Lotus Europa S to look so good in metallic white! And wasn't expecting the New Evo to look as perfect as it does. It's quite a bit longer than the Elise chassis.

Also a Tesla you can touch and poke and remark on how Elise like it is, sure to get a bad reaction from the sales team! It's nice though and available in UK/Europe! to my surprise. I also bought 'anna a Lambo!

At last - thanks Phil.
That last photo is the first one I've seen that shows the sills.
They still look pretty big to me (akin to Beecher's Brook) but one of the articles I've read said they're 80mm box as opposed to 100mm box on the Elise chassis.

It may have its knockers, but I think it's fabulous and I hope (despite the economic situation) its sales figures go well.
If they don't it won't be through a lack of skill, flare and design quality from Hethel.

The seats are higher and feel like modern Elan seats (Upgrade coming on?). They are of course Recaro Leather semi race seats with good lateral support. Comfortable too! Very un like the Elise.
The sills are a lot narrower than the Elise S2 and a bit lower, as the seats are higher it will be a lot easier to get into and out of. It's really the seat height that makes the Elise so difficult.

I could have asked to sit in the car but I'll wait for Hethel.

Lotus made this car to conform to the USA regs so it should be easy to sell there and it has a big market. The Euro is up so it will be cheap for the Europeans too and not so extreme, so I think it's a winner.

I'd definitely buy one if I could afford it.

No, but I have seen photos; I think they are on LEF but I can't get their site up for some reason. When I do I'll post some pics.

It's definitely a +2; fine for kids and all right for sensibly sized adults like us!

Does it have a rear-view camera somewhere? The view out the back using the mirror has got to be shite.

Really like the dual pipes in the middle.

I think they put the Evora nameplate in an odd place on the rear bumper. I've never seen a vehicle with the nameplate actually on the face of the bumper, except some where it's embossed in the plastic cover. I think I would have put it centered just below the LOTUS.
