dude, you're car is purple! LOL...(sigh) just kidding man!

i stated the $100 value so that it would be insured for as much and it could be replaced if lost (b/c it's shipping internationally it gets the first 100 dollars free in insurance).

there hasn't been an issue with a lost adapter to the UK yet, so if you are OK with me dodging the value i'm ok with it.

I ordered the exhaust manifolds from Dave Bean today. Will be shipped to me in few days. Will send you invoice once I know the total. (share shipping cost between 3 manifolds)

Richard: Yours would be no grinding but jet-hotted correct?

What about Ailwyn and Dico?

Ekapol,

Mine's to be ported, Dico's too IIRC.

I'd like to get it JH coated, and pending his own response, I'm sure Paul would be up for that too.

Thanks

turbo coolant pipe routing - T2560

Postby tigerdog » Wed 30.07.2008, 22:33

I see from Ekapol's engine compartment in the photo gallery, LGM's coolant return pipe loops up above the valve cover gasket then down to the thermostat houseing. Smaug's is routed the same way. When I shut him off, I can very clearly hear bubbling of boiling coolant in this pipe. Does anyone else (Ekapol? LGM?) hear this?

It looks like the stadard LotIsuzu return stays almost level with the thermostat. I'm wondering if our routing creates an unpurgeable section which will hamper turbo cooling. Thoughts?

Nope. No bubbling, perkalating or churning. The Aeroquip hose ends keep everything bretty low profile. Just out of curiosity I checked the lines for coolant flow as I've been working on the downpipes yesterday and today. Coolant is flowing pretty well through the lines. Now I need to go clean up my floor  Back to cutting and welding.

Good news. They might have 3 more exhaust manifolds coming in stock. Don't know the exact date yet.

I think I will take this group buy to LGM Turbo Kit Thread

Sure, no problem, but I think the price is already on the thread linking out from my post above. You might want to click on the green thingy there ;-)
