If you can get it boxed up, we can just send DHL in to collect it from you :)

Yes I can do that - I was going to get the lower part machined but can retrieve it tonight and pack it up with the other bits, and it can be ready for collection from the gatehouse at my workplace tomorrow.
I'll PM you with the address.

Any advice welcomed

But I'm worried it won't match up to Maries new downpipe as someone else mentioned.

Marie has made new downpipe to fit origional system.

So will new system fit.

Cheers

Tony

Like Tony I would like a 2.5" system that will bolt straight onto the new downpipe for Maries turbo upgrade. Picture of a completed down pipe below. It looks as though it has the standard triangular flange as found on the base of the pre-cat, we just need to confirm it is in the same place.

If that downpipe marrys up to the standard system or Peco system, then fitting our system to it will not be a problem :)

Yep, its meant to bolt straight up to the Peco which in turn was meant to bolt up to the precat. it clears the AC nicely as Ekkers still has it in his car. For those of you wanting to go crazy on the boost 2.5 would be better. I.ve found the limits of the 2.25 to be around 18-20PSI with my Peco/Borla setup.

Thanks Marie, I assumed that to be the case but assumption is the fastest way to getting it wrong in my experience! Looks a sthough I may need to save up for a 2.5" exhaust as well :D .

Any chance someone will have a 2.5 w/sportcat fitted at Hethel? I'd love to see/hear it.

Don't think they are going to be ready for Hethel .

Garry,

I won't be a part of this initial buy as I have a very good custom made system on the car at the moment and would not even be considering changing it if I wasn't already bought into the turbo upgrade project. When I have the turbo upgrade fitted (and that may yet be some time off as I will want to have all that I need before I start and have yet to buy the turbo itself) I will be in for a 2.5" exhaust. Thank you for the work you have put into this and I'm pleased that there are now 10 orders. I'll be along for mine in a year or 2 , at least I'll know where to come :D .

Now.... calm down... :-D

The old girl will have one, but they are not due for realease till the beginning of October... :(

Then again... the old girl needs a new gearbox fitting first... and it's still not arrived...

At the moment you're going to Hethel in the battle bus...Volvo T5...(If it passes it MOT the second time round).... At least I can carry the spares up easily....

I am intersted in this but as I have a standard fit apart froman Everest chip I assume that the 2 1/4 exhaust is the way to go as Boost creep would be a certainty with 2 1/2" bore?????

PS

Garry if we are not in the initial free carriage lot, what (estimated) will the carriage be within mainland UK.
