How much are the interfaces and just to clear it up for me these are the interfaces that will allow me to connect a laptop to my elan and use Elanscan to diagnose any problems.
Also is USB or serial better.

OK - back after 40 winks.

I think the situation is:

Brijo was next on the list but hasn't replied to the PM I sent a couple of weeks ago. chrishewett, jcab and SAB in the NMG (Slim Attractive Bloke in the Non-Medina Green) have asked for one. I've got 3 USBs ready to go for £41 incl. P&P by EFT or cheque so please e-mail me your address and I'll get one off to you and let you know my bank details or address.

a) £41 incl p&p so long as you don't want to use PayPal. Utter bargain.
b) Yes.
c) It depends what ports your laptop has; if it has both serial & USB, it's up to you.

Hi Geof, my Elan woes continue regarding engine hunting, overheating, lack of power, backfiring on over-run, fuel guzzling etc. etc. An interface would be really useful if you could make me one - prefer USB input if possible. I'd be pleased to join the queue! E-mail me the possibility, price and your Sort Code, A/c No. etc and I'll do an immediate online transfer of funds, or alternatively your address and I'll post a cheque.

I now have some hardware waiting to be built up, so PM me your address and I'll get my last USB interface off to you tomorrow - people with problems take priority! I should have another batch built up by next weekend, so anyone else who wants one, please shout now as I'd prefer to get as many built as are wanted and have a short break (to fix my CVJs ).
