I won't be a part of this initial buy as I have a very good custom made system on the car at the moment and would not even be considering changing it if I wasn't already bought into the turbo upgrade project. When I have the turbo upgrade fitted (and that may yet be some time off as I will want to have all that I need before I start and have yet to buy the turbo itself) I will be in for a 2.5" exhaust. Thank you for the work you have put into this and I'm pleased that there are now 10 orders. I'll be along for mine in a year or 2 , at least I'll know where to come .

No worries Once we have done the development they will always be avaliable for ever after so if you do need one just give us a call.

Garry if we are not in the initial free carriage lot, what (estimated) will the carriage be within mainland UK.

It comes down to if you have plans to upgrade the turbo:
Yes - 2.5"
No - 2.25"

DHL have been a dismal failure in collecting the pre-cat bits from me at work.
The box has been sitting next to me for about 10 days and I've made numerous calls to them.
So seeing as I'll be at Hethel this weekend I'll bring the box down with me to pass on.
I can't remember if it was Breed or Freelander that was going to collect it.
Whoever it is, just make yourselves known to me nearer the time and we'll sort it.

I can pick the parts up from the LEC stand on Sunday. Can you give me an idea of the size of the box as at the moment I will be going in a Elise. Just want to check that the boot will take it.

If so i can arrange to collect it from you and get the flanges drawn up and laser cut prior to your car coming in.

Once we have see it we are hopefully going to be able to offer a pre cat eliminator as an off the shelf item also. And in good LEC style, we are hopefull to offer a group buy also.

Yes we can offer ceramic coating as an option. We coat alot of our race exhausts so this is not a problem. I shall put 2 quotes together:

1) PCE - With thermal barrier coating
2) PCE - Without thermal barrier coating

Right, another quick update, i have now received the parts from Breed this morning. Now we can set about quoting for a production PCE.

Now, I have read a little on the forum with regards to a "Stiffy" (which i think im right is saying is the Downpipe, from the turbo, removing the pre cat and joining to the start of the system). As i now have all the sample standard parts here, would you like me cost this for you also? What demand is there or is their already something avaliable that you are happy with I have read that a "Stiffy" that was made does not fit US spec cars? Why is this and could one not be made to fit both US and UK cars, whats the difference?

The original issue with the stiffy was it wouldn't fit cars with aircon, because it came too tight to the block where the aircon compressor lives.

If you follow the same path as the standard parts you have then you shouldn't get a problem (at least that's my understanding).

In the meantime, i have the initial costings of the PCE. The cost of an uncoated version will be approx £94.00 (including VAT). Its no the material cost on this one thats the problem, more the tooling. Getting from a 4" hole down to a 2.5" hole in a short space. Not to mention the cost of the large flange was

If its of interest we shall make these also for those that want when Bills car is in. As with the system, once the development is done, anyone else can order them as and when they need as we will keep them on the shelf.

I think you'd better be prepared to be inundated at that price.
I had a SS one made a few years back by Hayward & Scott (admittedly this one includes a bracket with holes to allow you to re-mount all the heat shields) that cost me ~ £500.
