I was thinking of perhaps delivering a card to Hethel, perhaps via Stowmarket and Thetford.....

Wouldn't it be nice to get 21 Elans to do it?

I just missed out on being able to take my own Lotus to Hethel for the Anniversary, so I'd be interested.
Anyone know if they still have any heavily discounted aftersales parts left ?

Being as the 16th is a Sunday, and the factory closes Friday lunchtime, the best you will get is the miserable security guard who was on duty for the 60th - I say miserable because I was standing with him when he was getting untold flak for the traffic problems for which he was not responsible.

I would suggest you hang on a bit longer if you want any sort of access beyond the the perimeter fences.

Having said that I do like the idea of a Sunday blat around Norfolkshire.

I'm thinking of no more than a low key blat by 21 Elans to Hethel - if possible dropping in on Messrs Stevens and Miles to shake 'em by the hand and say 'Thanks so much, chaps' - hopefully arranging for one (preferably black) Elan to blast round the test track once, and then bugger off home.

Not much time left to organise it, and not worth doing of we can't get 21 Elans.
