I think this sums things up for me. :-D

Got a Ferrari?

Not quite good enough at driving?

Are the other boys faster than you in the wet?

Then you need:-

Ferrari International Assistance (FIA)

This exclusive Ferrari-only membership club has many benefits. Including:-

- Anti overtaking assurance

Been overtaken? Feel a bit silly?
Don’t worry, we’ll rule out the other party, even if it’s embarrassingly obvious that they’re faster than you

- Exclusive access to a secret ‘second lane’ in the pits

Just to make things a little bit easier we’ve arranged a private second lane , just for you

- Guaranteed world championship

Had a crash? Need to win the world championship? Don’t worry just limp across the track and take off your nearest championship title contender – we’ll do the rest

- A bit strapped? Need extra cash?

Simply get one of your team to tell someone else how you make your cars.

- Bits falling off your car? Looking a bit dangerous/risking a black flag?

At Ferrari International Assistance we operate a ‘blind eye’ policy just for Ferrari drivers

- Been a bit silly? Taken off another driver after following the safety car?

It’s ok, as long as you didn’t hurt yourself. I mean, who are Force India anyway? And how dare they be in front of you..

-A bit bored? Want some extra action?

With FIA plus you can take part in a number of additional membership activities at our discreet premises in Chelsea... [Full CCTV.]

- Not sure when you might need us next?

Relax. Check out our track record. We’re confident that we’ll be able to make something up on the spot that will get you out of any pickle that you might find yourself in

Ferrari International Assistance

Making it up as we go along for over 100 years

IT-effing-V!

I've just put the telly on before the news began, and the announcer said "This afternoon we're showing the Chinese GP in full from 2.55pm. And now the news".
Then what do they do?
First news item - completely spoil the result!

Arseholes.

If that had been some stupid bloody football match they'd at least have said "if you don't want to know the result, look away now".
But there wasn't even the option - they just blurted it out without warning and ruined it.

I'm livid at the idiots.

I've got visitors as it happens. Do I really need to justify why I didn't fancy getting up at 7am on a Sunday?!?

Still, no point in watching it now, so none of their precious adverts will reach me and tempt me to part with any of my hard-earned.

I didn't feel like it either - but I had to start work at 0700, so no harm done!

I got up at 6.30 too. I watched all the way to the end of the first lap, then jumped in the Elan and listened to it on the radio. Not much ITV for me. :D

As Lewis was stretching out his early lead, I was "Sunday driving" up the A11 to Norfolkshire. :-D

I hope Lewis goes on to win in style in Brazil, both race and championship.

Then I hope F1 gets sorted so there is a level playing field. How about some independant management with no past affiliation to particular teams. How about somebody trying to find out which of those in high places have been taking backhanders from either teams or sponsors or both. Did you see that pig just fly past.

Also wish DC all the best for his retirement and pending fatherhood.

I begin to wonder whether young Lewis isn't the tiniest bit jinxed. Fifth in Brazil should be a given, but who'd be really that surprised if something didn 't crop up to throw a spanner in the works.

I hope I'm wrong, as I'd love to see a Brit as Champion, and since Hamilton is a personable cove.

And Alonso (great driver, poor human, like Schumey) needs taking down a peg or two, IMHO.

The stage is set for an incident of some description to hand the championship to Ferrari.
Whether that will be somebody taking Hamilton off or another 'failure' like last year which miraculously corrects itself immediately after screwing up Hamilton's chances of winning the championship.

The only way Hamilton can now win it is for Massa to have an engine failure. The FIA could always find something wrong with car no.22 when they re-examine the scrutineering from Shanghai.

I think Massa's chances are looking very good.

Well done to Lewis for winning the Chinese GP. No, I really mean it. He did it the right way, keeping his trap (largely) shut and
doing the business on the track. I don`t like him but I won`t begrudge him the driver`s championship if he wins it now.

He soaked up a lot of pressure and criticism over the last week but managed to deliver the goods when it mattered. He`s learning.

It was a very boring race after two (for me) good ones, but it was great to see the Renault out drag the McLaren in a straight line. I do have a horrible feeling we may lose Alonso to Ferrari next year, getting Kimi in exchange. If we do, i hope he can wake up a bit.

you reckon?
i thought it was a done deal at the red end til 2010?

i do love the way that alonso is on it. he is a great driver and a brilliant dr evil (much more likeable than schuy)

last race then..

kimi to take off lewis?
alonso to take off lewis
lewis to take off massa (and/or then both get stupid FIA points deduction and kimi / kubica wins?)
5 x ferrari's to mess up lewis's day.

the FIA to get the outcome they require and something suspicious happens to lewis's car.

Don't bother with the race - just watch the Bernie interview before if you really want to know who he has already decided is World Champion

I suppose at least it`s been an interesting year for F1

Actually i would like to see Alonso go to the Ferrari next year as i think that would make 2009 to watch :-D In saying that with the Regs changing next year hopefully they`ll be a few more teams battling for the top spot.
