In the best of LEC traditions, we'd better have a list :-D

1. Blacknight - evening meal
2. pinky - anytime
3. Ailwyn - maybe, depending on date, location, weather, car status, babysitter etc....

3. Ailwyn - maybe, depending on date, location, weather, car status, babysitter etc....
4. Geoff - anytime ...... but would favour a weekend lunchtime when there's better chance of daylight.

What, you mean like last year?

It was such good daylight that you couldn't see more than 30 meters into the fog! (but we still had the hood down for the trip 8) )
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

I can do the Saturday evening (finish work at 1700), or the Sunday lunchtime (lates- & I can take a couple of hours off).

With time rushing on, the decision has been made, and the consensus (by those who have bothered to reply) leaves us with:-

Sunday 30th November, lunch time.

So.........

.....we need a list :-D

1) Dave & Angie
2) Iain and Lex
3)

Sort a venue out then and I can decide whether it's worth the trip ;)

It's the 'chicken and egg' scenario - if no-one else signs up it could be in Weston, if they do, it could be anywhere!

As both Iain and I use our cars regularly (not just on sunny summer days) a trip out isn't a big problem, so get yer name down, and offer a suggestion :smt019 :smt019 :smt019

The place we went to last year seemed okay to me White Hart at Littleton
(and they sell Thatchers!) and although quite close to the exiled Geordie, appears central to many!

If you want to punt an idea for something your side of the international border, feel free!!!

Does anyone know of any pubs in Hereford that serve food on Sunday?

It might make a decent trip out and we could take in Hereford Cathedral, the Mappa Mundi, the Hereford Gospels, the Chained Library and the Close.....

PS This suggestion has not been influenced at all by the little known fact that it is perfectly legal to shoot a Welshman on a Sunday in Hereford, provided it's with a longbow and within cathedral close

Not directly in Hereford (5 miles out) - but the bloke who lives 2 doors away has an elise and a seven - he's usually found propping up the bar at this place, and they do good grub.

(it just means that you get to have lunch with my brother)

i'll even get him to sharpen up a couple of arrows
