8)
Massa did drive a good race today but from the front with no opposition and only pit lane tactics to worry about it really didnt stretch his driving ability. He deserves to win the championship one year but this wasnt the one.
Lewis deserved it today for two reasons
1 to give the bird to the F1 heirarchy who see fit to change rules and apply penalties to knock down individuals when it is not warranted and
2 to give two fingers to those sick bastards who saw fit to partake in the racist comments added to the web over the last season. F1 should have distanced themselves from this with a much more public condemnation.

Hard luck to DC- that wasnt the way to end your last race.

I believe justice was done today :!: , & also a sincere hard luck to Massa, he has matured beyond recognition this year, but that just shows how good Hamilton is.

Looks like Timo Glock is driving for McLaren next year then lol ... hmmmm how much did they pay him for today! Good race Massa ... Hamilton was no where to be seen!

Hamilton was somewhere to be seen - 5th place. It's called tactics. Highlight for me was the Ferrari celebrations suddenly stopping.

Remember that Vettel's team (Torro Rosso) use Ferrari engines and as such usually get the old spec, less powerful variety....
....then when required, suddenly have a massive boost in performance.

If Ferrari had provided them with their premier engines all season, then who knows what could have happened? They only have theirselves to blame.

A well deserved win for LH. I honestly can't understand what's not to like about him. Sure he's young & confident, but beyond that he seems to be a decent chap.

If there's anything to dislike imho, it's the way sports stars generally are practically bred for the job these days, and trained from nappies to succeed. This inevitably, along with the increasing costs of getting involved at any level, distances sports further from the rest of us, and results in less rounded characters for those that are involved.

Glock was only up there cos he didn't pit which ultimately led to his abismal last lap

he could have done the honourable rooky thing and taken Hamilton out or at least spun it right in front of him rather than giving him the place so easily.... :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

There we were, all thinking that McLaren were crap at them, and they pull that out of the hat to win the championship just when we all thought they'd thrown it away. Genius.

Agreed. "There you go Ferrari - this is what disappointment feels like, now YOU have some!"
Massa was the most miserable looking winner I've ever seen.

Other highlight was Lewis's Pussycat Doll bouncing around all over the place. Mind you, I bet she was bouncing around into the wee small hours... ;-)

And lowlight was seeing Coulthard taken out by Davros's squad like that - what a disappointing end for him.

Can't understand why every TRUE brit isn't fully behind LH, wtf's happening to the people in our country, supporting the italians & brazilians over ourselves :( , i bet Colin Chapman would of applauded him :!:

Can you please explain this attitude thing, i just havn't seen it ?, i actually think most drivers are nice guy's, apart from Alonso, who's back stabbing of McLaren last season, has totally put me off him, although being a true F1 fan, i realise he is a brilliant driver.

i am glad to see a brit win after such a long dry spell.
Lewis is a bit dull but then as time goes he my grow a beard and start hanging around with button (if he's still around)
I'm not sure about the pussycat bird being his real girlfriend.. the chemistry between them looks a bit manufactured.. still good luck to him.
mclaren and Ferrari have the ABC approach
always be corporate . that's why Irvine was a refreshing change when he called it as aerodynamic as a brick...

f1 has become a bit too tame as well.
this is the first time in a long while that driving into each other as not touted as an option as they all know that the penaltys for it would kick in..
unlike the senna prosts mansell hill scumacher villy days of old (and that's just the ones i watched)
poor old DC ... his beard would have made him do doughnuts... just what f1 needs again FIM IRL style celebrations.

do you really think that GLOCK did it on purpose?
i know they were old F2 mates. BUT.?
Martin Witmarsh reckons it was strategy BUT he would say that..
would like to think there was some conspiracy that that Lewis owes glock one if ever the championship was his to win....

best of British to us
the Brazilian lost even with the help of the FIA but even with that (which could be seen to be out f his control) i think he was a worthy runner up.

What do you reckon Alonso would have done if he had the chance of overtaking Massa?
that would have been hilarious to think that alonso would have help lewis win the world championship !
Jim Clark S2 - 1/12. The one with the Yellow spoke wheels . No 613 on dash (pushed in to factory in wrong order 615 on tub)

dont forget 1970 was Rindt, 1972 was Emmo and 1978 was Andretti......

in that case I was supporting last years cheating gits....and mr personality himself (r.dennis).......
its very hard not to support anything british....but mclaren and hamilton have achieved it.....
cheatin in 2007 and lewis' attitude to everyone else........youre not gonna talk me out of this one...Im affraid I dont like the mclaren set up.....yet while dc and hakkinen were there I was all for them.......
I support anything british but not them......dc, jenson, RBR etc.....Im still strugglin with likin williams tho after his treatment of both hill and jenson..
I was also wanst keen on that red team whilst the FIAs golden boy was there.....MS...altho EI was a good propper breath of fresh air and I really liked him......schuey...the only guy to drive people off the track to win world championships...
see youve got me going now......
ah well we all have our own opinions and unfortunately mine is an unimpressed dislike of this years drivers champion and his team :-D :-D :-D
