I like the idea of just the Lotus logo. It would be a lot easier to paint the willwood with black caliper paint.

I took the opportunity to saw off enough of the bottom TopEnd piece so that it no longer puts ruinous pressure against the main water pipe. There had been cardboard placed there by the former owner to protect the water pipe.

I used a power sander with 180 grit paper. It's just bare metal. It was polished after being powder coated, as the coating covered everything topside.
BTW I'm going to try and relocate the boost gauge transducer to the firewall. I just hate that pink rubber cover!

Why not just paint the pink cover yellow, too?

Painting rubber then placing a metal-spring tensioner over it? I think the stress will make the paint crack & peel off. I'll give it another look, but it seems like something that will just look ugly & like a "shade-tree mechanic" solution in a very short time.
