Oh, and I've changed my mind again, silver, not the cheapo ones though.

Lemme get this straight. "Economy" = silver coloured calipers? That's it? No actual mechanical difference in the caliper? For that (colour silver) the price is 216 instead of 280? Surely wishful thinking on my part. I must have missed mention of a different caliper somewhere in the thread.
ADDENDUM: I see now. Also available in our "Economy" version which is finished in silver and comes with an embossed logo rather than an engraved one to keep the cost down to a minimum. Heck, I'd rather have it without the engraving. I can put my LOTUS decal right across the face of it then.

One other thing. Will our rear brake hoses screw into the Hi-Spec calipers? Are they the same thread?

The economy caliper is only valid for the front and not available as an option for the rear.
All rear calipers are £280.00 the pair
ADDENDUM: The economy caliper is only available for the front
The rear brake hose fits to the current caliper with a banjo and banjo bolt, I have included a new banjo bolt as the threads are different but the size is the same e.g. M10, so the new bolt will be M10 x 1.0.
The only issue I can forsee with the hose is length as it may be a little longer than required.
If the hose is not a good fit due to it's length I will make arrangements to get some new ones made up and as they are short and only require two fittings the cost should be quite low probably around £15 to £20 the pair.

I have found an alternative to the people with large front calipers (nitroman and fubar)
The BMW Mini uses a disc that is very close to what is required at 294mm diameter, has the correct stud pattern 4 x 100 just needs a concentric ring to align it to the hub. Will need to see what price I can get these for but they should offer a lower cost solution.

Bob, further to nitro's question about colour, are there options for the rears? I seem to recall on the HiSpec site that they offer several colours. Personally, I'm interested in black, front and back. But, other may want different colours if available. Should we be specifying colour?

Also, as you know I'm looking at a slightly custom/larger setup for front and back as per our discusisons. Does this affect the caliper at all in that I need to specify a caliper "size" in any way? Or, is it all in the disc size and mounting brackets that this is taken into consideration? Thanks!

I want to move this forward.

I have already had payments from some members and need to get the calipers organised.
To this end I have emailed some people direct but others I do not have their email address so decided this may be another way forwards.

I have attached an Excel spreadsheet and the same as a PDF could you fill it in with your individual requirements and email it back (robert at swcsl dot co dot uk)

Those that have already done so do not need to do so
