I'll ask her tomorrow when I see her, but she's probably got rehersals for a Xmas Performance the following weekend.

Sorry guys, but I won't be able to make it either now. I've just checked my finances and can't justify the 90 mile round trip for a beer. Hope you all have a good time.

Re: LEC Anglian Xmas Meet Lazy Scousers, Ips - to be rescheduled

Postby Dave Eds » Tue 09.12.2008, 14:19

Sorry chaps but we have postponed this. Unfortunately attendees, myself included, were becoming scarcer at the Scousers. :-D

More unfortunately the long suffering Mrs Eds is to undergo surgery this Thursday for a prolapsed disc :( , thus a complete review of our :smt114 :smt111 plans.

Best wishes for Mrs Eds. My brother-in-law had his back operated on last month. The first 2 days where painful (they went in through the front so his organs felt bruised), but op was a sucess and he's well on the road to recovery after 10 years of constant pain and days off work.

Spud, best wishes to Mrs Eds.....

As I'm sure others will tell you both, it is worth the surgery for the great benefit afterwards. I was in agony for a while, then had the op, bit of bed rest and take it easy, soon running about again - i was able to go back to my football coaching afterwards, which i thought would never happen again.

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Hope all goes well on Thursday mate. Just call if you need anything- like a descent GP. Or a beer.
I expect a full breakdown on the BS takeaways whilst you fend for yourself. You can miss out BK. Macs and KFCrap.

So pleased for Raina, Luke and you Buddy! :D

Now look after her this time, and tell her "Elan driving, it's not for girls!" :-D

And then go out in it and drive like a girl!

Yep - don't forget Mands works 'til 2pm on a Sunday, and Snips dangles on a Sunday. But then Scouser's one working day of a week is a Saturday! And King of Facebook only appears on a Tuesday! :smt102
