Hi Geoff- no complaints from you then cos as far as I can see you'll struggle to find any of your noted issues- even your car was in!!!!!
And I've already changed the stiom counter.

Mine arrived safely this morning and of course I had a look. Brilliant!! :D Congratulations Dave. Well done and thanks for making such an effort.
Now I've wiped all memory of the pics so will be delighted and surprised every month during 2009.
This should inspire those of us who failed to submit pics this time. The bar is now rather high for next time. There will be a next time I hope?

Yes got mine and i'm very impressed despite my foto not making the grade :-D Still i will have a new DSLR camera for next year so i will be taking loads of fotos of the arty farty kind that should be more competitive for inclusion in 2010's calender.
Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?

I wasn't able to get in on the action, so would anyone mind posting the winning entries?

Re: Questions about the next LEC Calendar

Postby Dave Eds » Sun 21.12.2008, 22:19

Got mine this morning. :D

Would like to add my thanks to David for firstly taking this on so near to Christmas, secondly making it happen, and thirdly for the splendid results.

It was always going to be difficult to match last year's efforts by Dave (Specky), and I know how much agonising David did to get the right balance of quality pictures showing off (nearly) all the colours. What I would say is, if yours ain't in it (it may have been last year though!), you have the best part of a year to get out there with your cameras and get those quality and unusual pics taken. The next one should be even more difficult to do, as we're gonna make the choosing even harder for whichever Dave takes it on eh chaps!

Well done Mr T.

You're in there, in 2 pics IIRC (not that I've peeked :-D )

Well done on the calendar Dave. Nice selection different pics in there. The ones taken on the 60th weekend really show the spirit of LEC & the best aspect of owning a Lotus.

Good job, done quickly and without fuss, and some very nice pics, but what a pity not to have baby captions saying whose cars they all were.

Apart from there being no caption option for these- there was the additional problem that I didnt even know who a lot of the cars belonged to.
I am aware that there are several cars featured whose owners did not purchase a calendar.
I'll put a list together this week to identify the cars featured- any gaps can be filled in by whosoever identifies the car.

Good skills Dave, the Calendars arrived today...

I love the photo of the production line...

Clemo will be happy...

It asks so many questions thou... Do you know when it was taken?

I'm guessing late 89 or early 90...

Reasons for 90 (The opera lights, early N/A black wing mirrors)

Possibly why the cars may not be 89 (the internal of the roof hood is black)

Have you got any more of the production line?

Good skills Dave

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... The N/A-Team.

In that case it just went up to 50 squid.

Believe it or not that was the only one of the M100 production that could be found, and it took ages to find that one.

NO!!!!!!

We put it in pride of place in May cos apparently thats the month LEC was started in 1999- and it is the one with your house in the background.
