Give me a chance!!
I have been trying to get hold of the guy who has been dealing with it to see if they have shipped yet and if not why not but he has been out of the office for most of the day.

Bob

The impossible I can do but miracles just take a little longer

It is all about communication Bob, you could try and answer a PM to let people know what is going on without delaying for several days. You could have responded to my PM just to let me know you had to make contact with your US side of things rather throwing your toys out of the pram :D

I am just trying to figure out what is going on; so if I post a question it is because there has been little to no communication from you and I am not sure what is going on with this. I am not sure if other people were given information and I (again) was some how left out because I was left off the original list to begin with.

Al, don't forget that Bob is trying to get 30+ rear sets together AND is developing front wheel setups AND is giving advice on one-off brakes kits AND is helping with the track Elan development AND his PM inbox is most likely completely full or overflowing. Admin is usually last on the list at some God-forsaken time in the morning, so please don't be too impatient. :)

I was going to answer your PM sent at 05:00 this morning but I needed to find out what was happening first, do not forget the time differance.
I can not drop every thing at work just to find the answers a PM, my job has nothing to do with LEC or cars and as such must come first as it keeps bread on the table.

Thats fine, but I sent the PM two days ago. I saw that you got the PM yesterday but did not yet responded so I was wondering if anyone else heard anything, I am not sure what is wrong with asking since I feel left out in the dark on this. I am just wondering if I missed something again, was there a PM that went out to the US buyers with information? Was I left off the list again? I am just trying to figure out the details since I have not heard anything on this buy but yet people in the UK have their hubs. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the work you have done for everyone.

Fair enough, then do not blow things out of propotion if I ask the question "has anyone heard anything" THAT IS ALL I DID!!!!

Since Bob is so busy I just asked if anyone else had heard anything, I am just trying to figure out what is going on, tell me what is wrong with that? :poke:

I've kinda grown acustomed to the fact that when people are doing projects for us here on LEC they also have their real life stuff to deal with too. Doing the relatively simple floor mat group buy I organized was an effort! It is defintely always good to have regular communication - just like we expect at the office (hopefully). But I do understand that even replying to PM's can be difficult on a timely basis. Especially when you likely have 50 in your inbox. :-D

This all reminds me of when Geoff graciously offered to help with my emergency flasher setup and custom V5 switcher.................oh wait, they're not done yet :poke: :-D

I have also done project so I total understand. I am just a little offended that I asked a question hoping someone else had the information and could update me. Now I am being called "impatient" all because I do not know what is going on with the hubs nor have I heard anything (god forbid I ask) . I guess I should have just kept my mouth shout and if the hubs ever "magically" showed-up at my house I could then jump for joy

I am just very frustrated with the response posted by some people commenting on my request for an update. All I did was to ask if anyone had any information that they could share with me about the hubs being sent to the US and then the toys started flying out of the crib by those who used this same analogy against me. I was the one who paid and then got dropped from the list and then when I question why I was not on the list, I got attacked for no reason even when it was someone else's error. As for the latest comments, I really do not appreciate being called "impatient" just because I asking for an update when NO information has been posted or forwarded my way that explains what is going on with the US buyers. It would have been nice to post an update now and then especially after collecting everyones money several months ago just to keep people informed :smt071

I am NOT asking for the hubs TODAY but I would like to know where we are in the process and if they have been shipped to the US, the sad thing is that you cannot even make a simple inquiry without getting a condescending response. I am not sure if there are other buyers in the US that have also felt that they needed an update but I have been in the dark with this group buy unlike all other group buys I have participated in. I was only looking for an update and you would think I asked for the world buy the response I got. In past group buys that I have been in updates and information was posted in the thread so that everyone could know what was going on at all times. Cordial communication and updates go a long way to keep everyone happy, informed, and is the perfect way to avoid problems. We all recognize that there is a lot of work that goes into these group buys and the manufacturing of the parts is truly is a labor of love.

I am just trying to find out the following:

1. Have the hubs been shipped to the US customers?
2. What do the US customers have to do in order to get their hubs? (are there instructions?)
3. Do we have to contact anyone? Will we be receiving a PM/email from someone here in the US with instructions?
4. Is there any timeline on delivery?

If anyone knows the answers and can forward the information without being condescending it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for the update

All the hubs for the US will ship Monday/Tuesday to Algirdas direct from the company that made them.
Algirdas will forward them on to the people in the US internally to keep the cost down.
They will probably take a few days to get there and then have to be sent on but you will all get them soon.

I am a bit sensitive because of the rudeness I have experienced as part of the group buy, it is uncalled for and not "tongue in cheek"
