Recap and update on the distribtion:

UK
As it says at the top of the thread, cheques or electronic transfer please and I would like to wrap up payment by the end of February. I will try to PM my address and bank details to all the UK contingent tonight but please e-mail me when you've sent an EFT as they're very difficult to track. Please e-mail rather than PM as my inbox keeps overflowing.

They can be collected from Donington apart from mick, Brian, Jason and Steve - let me know your addresses and I will send them off and let you know the cost of postage.

US
I will be sending three over for Randy, Matt and Rick with Randy's 'birthday present'. I hope Randy/Algirdas will coordinate US distribution and collection of payments (USD) for me.

ROW
I will post ivar's direct. Please e-mail me your addresses and I'll let you know the cost of postage then I guess it's we're in the hands of the great PayPal ripoff.

The forum has been fixed so you should now be able to see an e-mail button in my profile now but please use LECheaterValves@ukf.net for this GB. I also have a bigger PM box and multiple message capability so I will try and get bank details and address sent out tonight. As I said at the start, I don't want to have to parcel more than necessary, so I'd prefer it if we could use the LEC network to get these distributed from Donington, however I've added Steve to the posting list as he has a leaking valve. If there are any more genuine needs then ask but please don't overload me for no good reason.

Geoff

PS There are a few more available at £10.

Supposedly I have an updated set of black hoses on the way, it's just one of those "So where are they?", things. I paid an ADDITIONAL $105.63 USD = £72.05 GBP on Jan-29, so I hope the kit is updated (corrected) commensurately!

There are still five more available for £10 if anyone is interested - e-mail me at the address below.

Even though I said at the start of the thread I wouldn't be posting in the UK, quite a few additional people have asked for theirs to be posted! Image Other than the few exceptional cases that I agreed to before people committed, I'm sorry but I don't want to do this and I haven't kept a record of who has asked. However, my daughter has agreed to do it for a small fee - the cost of postage is about £1.50 so if you are interested, send me a minimum of £2.50 plus your address.

Geoff's magic box (that sounds terrible) arrived today, and I'll bring the valves to work tomorrow, get them into small boxes, and have a total price with shipping. I'll drop Rick and Matt a line tomorrow with the number.

Numpty question. Do you have to drain the system to fit these or can you just pull the hoses off the old one, fit the new one and top up? Will this introduce air into the system?

Whip it off, stick it in, top it up then bleed (bleed screw is under the nearside headlight pod). Don't forget to re-attach the vacuum line.
